Sub Rosa
Courses in the Practical Occult, Taught by Someone Who Actually Does This
You already know how to find chakras, tarot spreads, and "ancient wisdom" on the internet, usually repackaged by someone who discovered crystals three weeks ago. This is not that. This is thirty-odd years of actually doing the work — Tree of Life, elemental alchemy, protection technique, energy you can genuinely see instead of just agree to believe in — taught by the same hands that built the Symbol and wrote the About page you just finished reading. Come over. Sit down. Bring a notebook. Bring your skepticism too, if you like — it tends to survive the first session in noticeably better shape than it arrived.
Under the Rose, On Purpose
Fittingly, the whole enterprise runs sub rosa — Latin for "under the rose," and one of the oldest shorthand terms for "what's said here stays here." The story goes back to Roman mythology: Cupid, eager to keep his mother Venus's rather extensive list of indiscretions quiet, bribed Harpocrates, the god of silence, with the first rose ever grown .
Harpocrates took the deal, and the rose became the ancient world's official emblem of confidentiality. Roman banquet ceilings were carved with them as a standing reminder to dinner guests that whatever got said sub vino — under the wine — was also to remain sub rosa.
Centuries later, the Church carved the same rose above confessional booths, for exactly the same reason. The English phrase itself first turns up in the state papers of Henry VIII in 1546, back when it still needed explaining to readers, and the Latin form "sub rosa" is first documented in English use around 1654 .
Esoteric transmission has worked this way for as long as there's been anything worth transmitting: not because the material is shameful, but because most of it only becomes real once you're actually sitting in the room for it, rather than skimming it between browser tabs. That's the tradition this keeps.
To Know, To Will, To Dare, To Keep Silent.
What has been on Offer
Tree of Life — a year-long working relationship with the Kabbalistic map of everything, plus Tarot, ritual magic, Hebrew alphabet, and a respectable amount of numerology. No prior knowledge required, just a genuine appetite for it.
Elemental Alchemy & Crystals — four elements, five sessions (the fifth is the quiet one — Akasha — and it's earned, not sold separately).
Protection Technique — thirty years of field-testing, refined into something you can actually use, not just read about.
Soul to Source Sessions — an eight-session deep dive into the chakra system all the way back to origin. Not for the casually curious. Very much for the seriously ready.
Private sessions and distance readings — for when a full course is too much commitment and a straight answer is exactly enough.
How This Works
Small groups, real materials, sessions held in Gent, and a policy of taking the subject seriously without taking yourself too seriously — the seventh sense, after all, is what unlocks the sixth.
Enrollment happens the old-fashioned way: send a message, seats are confirmed in the order payment arrives, same as it's always been over on arcanglez.com, where the full current schedule and pricing lives.
Important: an update is due for the Arcanglez site and it is temporarily on vacation in Under Construction land.
A brand new addition is the Quincunx Quest Trajectory, more on that on the next page.
